Hosono Hitomi - Large Feather Leaves Bowl

This is a striking porcelain piece at the British Museum Japanese gallery by artist Hosono Hitomi composed of delicate feather-like leaves. There is a smaller version on display at the Victoria & Albert Museum. 

Its placard compares it to a famous Jomon vase held at the Nagaoka Municipal Science Museum.
