Joan Brull - Somni - Dream

Catalan Symbolist painter Joan Brull employed an easy style in the execution of his beautiful painting Somni or Dream or Sueño which hangs at the Catalonian National Museum of Art at Montjuic in Barcelona. 

His muted, diffuse brushwork imparts an ethereal, otherworldly dreaminess to Somni, which makes it extremely pleasant to look at, easy on the eye, as well as relaxing and calming.
