My English Rose is a commentary on my love for the British countryside and beautiful English gardens, as well as my profound admiration for 19th century British art, as it is challenged by my disillusionment with other aspects of contemporary British society.
It was completed on 21 November, 2014, and inspired by a tree at the north end of the gardens at Cholmondeley in Cheshire.
